The Chronic Hustle Podcast

So May 10th was World Lupus Day, but of course with Mother’s Day …. who could really compete?

But, just because Mother’s Day won the popularity contest, doesn’t mean that I’m going to take a backseat in spreading awareness! Everyday is a great day for it, and what better way to do it, then to re-share my podcast! My very first one, by the way!

Last month, I had the opportunity to be apart of my yoga teachers @andreamahal and @adriamoses podcast, @thechronichustle. Hey girl hey!!! If you didn’t hear it before, now is the perfect time to take a listen. You can find the link on my IG page @yoharvey so go ahead, enjoy - it was good!

Clockwise it’s me, Andrea & Adria - my girls!

One of the many things we discussed was dating with a chronic illness, which has been hard to do since I was diagnosed with Lupus. You might ask how or why that would even would be an issue.

Well, you definitely don’t want anyone to feel sorry for you or even have to explain when, where and how you got Lupus. It can be a lot for a first date, especially if you don’t even know if you’re really going to be together - but it’s my reality and something that’s going to be apart of my life and anyone I decide to date.

As such, it is almost easier to keep it hush but Lupus does have its side effects - so I would hate to be on a date and I pass out, which has happened before - but not on a date! Thank God!

We had lots of fun talking facts and keeping it real, so go grab a glass of wine, green juice or green … you know, whatever floats your fancy, and come vibe with me - I mean, what are you really doing anyway, lol!

xoxo,

Cara
