Tuesday, Tuesday, Tuesday.
It’s Tuesday again and for me that means ‘Day 1’ of working out.
I never liked starting on a Monday, so here we are, at Tuesday again and here I am sitting on the gym floor wondering why I don’t have the urge or energy to workout.
I went to Urban Outfitters over the weekend (fav store) and fell head over heels for a top - but not just any top - a crop top. (You will see this top on my IG around May as I like to shop/plan for my trip outfits in advance … unless I send it back because I don’t produce any abs in the next 4 weeks! HELP!)
I literally was just gifted some air pods thinking that would boost me to workout, plus I have an Apple Watch with all of my friends on it and we can see each other’s progress throughout the week but that is still zero motivation for me. Plus I feel like I must have an old outdated watch because I’m unable to do the challenge with my friends.
But back to this top! It’s so cute that I must get my life in order or I will be looking like a complete fool with my belly hanging over my pants!
Now, when I’m home I workout pretty much five days straight at 6am! I have a package deal at @bikramyogaferndale.
Monday and Wednesday is an hour of Bikram, Tuesday and Thursday is an hour of Hot Pilates (fav), and Friday is Ying Yoga.
I set my alarm for 5:05am and I’m out the door (of course I wash my face and brush my teeth!) But when it’s time to head back to work you won’t catch me waking up at 5 to workout - no bueno. You also will NOT catch me working out after a 8/9 hour day! All I want is some wine. I prefer a really good blend.
So why is that!? I’m pretty good when it comes to eating right as I still try to do a vegan/plant based diet and a little fish if I have no other options but to starve for the day. So that part is starting to come easy for me because I live my life on Sundays in Trader Joe’s.
But the idea of working out? Spare me. Yes, I know you can lose weight just by eating right, but how does this belly and thunder thighs go away? With a consistent workout. I prob have over a 100 videos saved of different yogis or just beast ass women on my IG that show off their different workouts. Yes I’ve tried them here and there but usually I start the video and say to myself (wtf).
I even thought about getting a trainer; but let’s be real, I’ve tried two online and they were legit but I need you in my face and telling me what’s right and wrong with my form.
So I need your guys help to help me stay motivated to workout longer than a week! Is it a new gym shoe? A new outfit? A new boo? A new job? A dope playlist? Spill the beans below!
If you do have a dope workout playlist leave your name so I can follow! I mostly use Spotify!
Thanks in advance!
Xoxo
